About change of throttle control pattern with firmware update

We will inform you of important changes in the throttle control pattern in this update.

Overview

In order to reduce the burden on the drive gear, battery, motor and airier, we added a special throttle control program to prevent overcurrent from occurring due to sudden switching to reverse → forward.

Details

① When switching from reverse to forward, the motor rotating in the backward direction is completely stopped , and the forward operation is accepted after about 0.1 second or more with the throttle of the transmitter kept in the neutral position . Even if the throttle is operated to the forward side while moving backward, the direction of rotation of the motor will not change.

② If you return the throttle to the neutral position for a moment after starting the reverse, throttle operation including backward movement will not be accepted until the condition of ① is satisfied .

③ Independently control the neutral brake power at the time of forward movement and reverse movement as follows so that the motor rotating in the reverse direction quickly stops.

 · When neutral brake power is set to 0 to 30% at TAO II setting, the neutral brake power that operates during the forward movement is the same as the set value, and the neutral brake that operates during the reverse operation is fixed at 30%.

 · When neutral brake power is set to 32% or more in the setting of TAO II, the neutral brake power that operates during the forward movement is the same as the set value, and the neutral brake power that operates during the reverse operation is the same as the set value .

This update will be a change to avoid excessive burden / damage to gears and other drive mechanism, battery, motor, airier. 
The change in operation feeling is only when switching to [forward → reverse], so please update for product protection.
